The Mainnet is now live!

  • DBET Family —
We couldn’t be any prouder to announce that the Mainnet is now officially live!

It’s been a long and busy last few months for all of us here at as we’ve continued to work through our Beta testing process hand in hand with our community and pushed out a number of updates with the express goal of making the very best product possible.

    We’ve done exactly that.

Our product development team has been tirelessly at work with continual UI and UX improvements, the addition of new games, and the reduction of any friction with the multiple moving parts involved. All of this simply would not have been possible without the help of our 150-odd Beta testers who completed over 300 quests. So for this, and our community’s continued support, you have our heartfelt thanks.

Now for the good stuff, Mainnet itself.

At launch, we have six fully supported games:

    • Dota 2
    • Hearthstone
    • Rocket League
    • Fortnite
    • PUBG
    • Apex Legends

Importantly, the entire platform will be underpinned by full MPP integration through the Comet browser extension. What this means is all of the VTHO costs for the platform will be paid for by and the end-user will only ever have to possess DBETs to play any of our supported quests or tournaments.

Simply create an account, get DBETs into Comet , select a game and play.

    Where can you play?
At launch, we will be geo-restricting locations based on advice given to us by our legal team. The full list of non-eligible jurisdictions can be found here. Note, if your country is not on this list, you are in an eligible jurisdiction and fully able to participate in our platform. In regards to operable jurisdictions, this list is subject to change over time dependent on further legal analysis and changes to the overall landscape.

It’s also important to note that some restricted countries are due to KYC — not regulatory — issues. Simply put, if we can’t perform proper KYC validations due to lack of infrastructure in a region, we will not risk accepting customers from there.

    Customer support is key
As a key supporting mechanism, we will also be enabling full Zendesk integration through our web client, as well as our general websites so that users can submit a help ticket without having to leave their current webpage.

Overall, this will also allow for a more seamless troubleshooting and error-reporting process between Community Support, Development, and our partners at PlayVIG.

In general terms, users can expect, at a minimum, to receive a reply to their tickets within 24 hours with attention to be given based on severity. When submitting a ticket, please include any and all relevant details including screenshots, your Operating Software, the time and date of the issue, and anything else you think may be useful. Please extend some leeway during the teething process, but we will make sure to respond and act as quickly as possible.

As for the future of the platform?
Well, the sky’s the limit. Quest types, new and interesting supported games and ongoing platform streamlining are all on the cards for the near future and we’re excited to be able to continue this journey with you all.

Look for our founder, Jedidiah Taylor, and other company reps in our social channels the next couple of days to answer questions and share upcoming developments.
But if you’re ready to play, then let’s play: playDECENT Mainnet
